Description:
The Rox are seeking a seasonal employee to be our team mascot for the 2005 season (mid-May 2005 to mid-September 2005). This position will work closely with the Director of Community Relations on scheduling and attending multiple community appearances as well as the Director of Promotions for in-game entertainment.
K-O is a beloved part of the Rox baseball team and Rox image. Since K-O�s debut in 2003, K-O has developed a large fan base in Brockton and other surrounding communities. K-O is loved for many reasons, but mostly for K-O�s humor, dance moves and creative behavior.

Duties:
Game Day Entertainer
Responsible for working as the Rox mascot during all 46 home games,
including, but not limited to:

• Participation in pre-game ceremony i.e. Team introductions, first pitch, etc.

• Creating one 30-60 second skit per game�K-O�s personal introduction each game

• Participation with on-field promotions

• Participation with in-stadium promotions

• Autograph session each game

• General fan interaction

• Limited post-game entertainment

Community Appearances

• Responsible for performing at various community events in the South Shore area i.e. School assemblies, charity events, local fairs, sponsor locations and events

• Responsible for performing at Rox sanctioned events i.e. Private birthday parties, corporate events, special events at Campanelli Stadium, home of the Brockton Rox

• 10 appearances per month in addition to regularly scheduled games

Qualifications

• Previous mascot experience preferred

• Ability to dance in costume

• Strong creative sense

• Able to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

• Flexible schedule
